Working With CPS

We engage with architects, designers, consultants and project teams from the earliest stages of a scheme. We’ll review the space, project brief, capacity requirements and intended use, helping identify the most appropriate seating solution while considering accessibility, circulation, sightlines, finishes and wider design intent.

Our design team will develop an initial 2D seating layout aligned with your architectural plans and project requirements. This provides an early indication of capacity, configuration and spatial integration, helping establish a practical seating strategy as the wider scheme develops.

As the project evolves, we work collaboratively with your team to refine the seating layout and specification. Configurations, finishes, materials and technical details can be developed alongside the wider interior and architectural scheme, ensuring the seating becomes an integrated part of the space rather than an afterthought.

Once the design direction is established, we provide the technical information required to support specification and procurement, including product data, drawings, material and finish options, samples and detailed quotations. Our team remains available throughout the process to answer technical queries and assist with specification development.

Following approval, the seating enters production at our manufacturing facility. Typical manufacturing lead times are approximately 14 weeks, so we encourage early engagement to ensure manufacturing, delivery and installation can be coordinated effectively with the wider construction programme.

Our experienced installation teams manage the delivery and installation of the seating system on site, working alongside the principal contractor and other trades where required. Installation programmes are planned around the wider project schedule, with typical installations taking between one and two weeks depending on scale and complexity.

Our involvement continues beyond practical completion. Retractable and mechanical seating systems benefit from regular inspection and maintenance, and our annual servicing programme helps maintain safe, reliable operation while identifying wear or maintenance requirements at an early stage. Our servicing and aftercare can also cover fixed seating and associated components, including tipping mechanisms, folding tablets, power sockets and other integrated seating accessories, helping to ensure these remain safe, functional and fit for purpose throughout their service life.

We design seating systems around longevity, maintainability and long-term value. With appropriate servicing and preventative maintenance, our systems are designed to deliver more than 25 years of dependable performance—providing clients with a seating solution considered not only for project completion, but for the decades that follow.
