St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School Staging

CPS Manufacturing Co worked with the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School in Crawley, West Sussex to install school staging and curtain systems.

The demountable staging system consisted of a 7 x 4m stage at 600m high using Alu Rapid Junior platforms. The stage was carpeted in Heckmondwike Supacord ‘Anthracite’. Additional legs and clamps were provided with the school staging platforms to enable the rear row of staging to be tiered up 200mm to a deck height of 800mm instead of 600mm.

The curtain system consists of valance curtains have been installed to the stage front and sides, full width 1000mm deep proscenium valance, front of house curtains, front curtains used as static wing drapes and additional side stage curtains to create hidden wing areas. Heavy duty fixed proscenium tracking has been installed wall-to-wall in front of the stage.

Two sets of steps were provided with the systems for easy stage access. These steps can be moved around the stage perimeter for different events and requirements.

The stage and curtain systems were supplied and installed by CPS ready for the start of the school term. The stage is also being used by a theatrical company.
