University of Durham Bespoke Seating

CPS completed a series of seating projects for a large UK university which comprised lecture theatres, bespoke self-study areas and bespoke relaxation seating.  CPS designed, manufactured and installed the whole project working closely with the university and architect to help decide on layout design and colour schemes.

The bespoke study areas included the Vario seats and tables with internet connection which proved to be ideal for students as a private study/work area. The Vario chair was also installed in the lecture theatres where CPS supplied both the seating and the steel tiering. The project totalled over 1,000 seats and was delivered from concept to completion.
