Numatic approached CPS Seating to help deliver a unique demonstration environment as part of a series of immersive commercial spaces created within their facility. Designed to showcase cleaning solutions across a variety of sectors, the installation included environments such as a general store, hospital, restaurant, and auditorium – with CPS selected to design, manufacture, and install the seating solution for the cinema space.

Working directly with Numatic throughout the project, CPS developed the layout and seating specification for a compact 4000 x 3500mm cinema environment intended to provide an authentic demonstration experience for visiting clients. Following a visit to the CPS factory to review available seating options, the client selected the Asset A30 auditorium seat, recognising its combination of comfort, aesthetics, and suitability for the space.

A total of 18 Asset A30 seats were installed within the cinema setting. Due to the compact footprint of the room, slimmer arm configurations were incorporated to maximise seating capacity while maintaining comfort and accessibility. CPS carried out the installation across two phases, initially installing the bespoke tiering system before returning to complete carpeting, seating installation, and integrated LED lighting.

Delivering a complete turnkey package, CPS managed every stage of the project from initial design concepts and manufacture through to delivery and final installation. The completed space successfully captured the look and feel of a modern cinema auditorium within a highly compact environment, creating an engaging and immersive demonstration setting for Numatics visitors.

Following completion, the finished installation was photographed as part of the wider activation, with Numatics iconic Henry vacuum cleaner taking centre stage in the cinema seating, adding a playful finishing touch that perfectly reflected the fun and creative nature of the project.

The feedback from the client was extremely positive, with the finished installation providing both a visually impactful environment and a practical demonstration space that aligned perfectly with Numatics wider activation concept.
