Rivermead Swimming Pool

CPS Seating Limited worked with the teams at Pellikaan Construction and Saunders Boston Architects to deliver poolside spectator seating to the stunning new Rivermead Leisure Centre for both Reading Borough Council and Greenwich Leisure Limited.

This flagship facility boasts a wide range of features to suit swimmers of all ages and abilities as part of this £40m re reinvestment into upgrading sport & leisure centres in Reading. CPS provided and installed 300 of our SP100 spectator seats in a monochrome palette to complement this beautiful new swimming pool area.

The majority of seats were installed directly onto concrete plinths with the rear row of seats being fixed on to galvanised steel beams which were specially treated to withstand poolside humidity.

Without compromising on the overall aesthetics, the SP100 Spectator seats offer light resistance as well as fire resistance, are durable to withstand the stresses of high levels of usage as well as being anti-corrosive which is ideal for any poolside environment.
