Project Description
The Armthorpe Leisure Centre has recently had a £1.1m refurbishment project.
CPS Seating LTD designed, manufactured and installed the spectator seating for the poolside at the leisure centre, known locally as Armthorpe Baths.
Our award-winning Avatar tip-up seat was chosen for the venue. 40 Avatar seats were installed on beams that were supplied.
CPS worked with the Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT) to install the seating.
The Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust used local Yorkshire contractors for the Armthorpe refurbishment, with 70% coming from the region.
We have worked with the DCLT for over 32 years and originally supplied seating for The Dome when it opened in 1989.
Other works as part of the refurbishment included increasing gym space, a new fitness studio, better changing room facilities and improvements to the building.
