Your privacy is important to CPS Seating LTD (“CPS”, “TLW” or “we”) as is your trust in our products and services. We want you to know that the information you share with us will be treated with care.
This Privacy Statement addresses what personal information we collect and how we handle the personal information shared with us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices. We will not collect any personally-identifiable information about you (that is, your name, address, telephone number, or email address) (“Personal Data”) unless you provide it to us voluntarily. If you do not want your Personal Data collected, please do not submit it.
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”) the data controllers are CPS Seating LTD (t/a ‘CPS’) whose registered office is at CPS Seating LTD, Kings Hill Industrial Estate, Bude EX23 8QN.
Scope
This Privacy Statement applies to the personal information we obtain from and about individuals interacting with CPS or TLW and its websites, products and services. It does not apply to the personal information we obtain in our capacity as an employer.
Information collected
This Privacy Statement covers all CPS or TLW businesses and subsidiaries in the United Kingdom. Additionally, mobile applications have separate privacy statements, as described in the Mobile Applications section below. As you interact with CPS or TLW, there may be opportunities for you to provide us with your information. Additionally, we may collect certain information about you as further described below. You may provide us with information about you through a number of sources: CPS or TLW websites, product and related events, other incentive applications, surveys, social media platforms, and through our customer call team.
We also may obtain information about you from CPS or TLW affiliates and other sources such as companies that provide lists of potential customers, if such companies are permitted to share your information with us pursuant to their privacy statements.
This website will show data from different sources where we have permission to do so – for example, but not limited to:
• Contact information (such as name, address, town, county and postcode, email address and telephone number)
• Employment information (such as position, length of service in position, work email address and work phone number)
• Photographs such as those that you may submit through social media sites if permitted.
Use
The information CPS or TLW collects about you will be used to provide customer support services, product information updates, marketing, market research and sales tracking purposes and to contact you to measure and improve our service levels. You may choose to forward information from one of our websites or emails to another person. Email addresses submitted to us for this purpose will not be captured for later use in marketing unless the recipient opts in to receiving additional marketing materials from CPS or TLW.
Mobile Applications
CPS or TLW may develop certain mobile applications that you may download to your mobile device (“CPS or TLW Applications”). When you download a CPS or TLW Application, there may be an opportunity for you to provide us with or for us to obtain information about you. Each CPS or TLW Application will display a separate Privacy Statement that will inform you about how any information shared via the application will be handled and how to decline such use or uninstall the application.
Through a remote lighting system, CPS or TLW may also offer applications developed by third parties (“3rd Party Application”). When you download a 3rd Party Application to your mobile device, the 3rd Party Application may collect information about you in connection with your download or use of that application. CPS or TLW is not responsible for the collection or use of information by 3rd Party Applications. We recommend that you carefully review the privacy statement of each 3rd Party Application prior to downloading or using them.
Sharing
CPS or TLW may share the information it collects about you in the following instances:
• If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CPS or TLW, our customers, or others.
• When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud or respond to a law enforcement request
• With our services providers who work on our behalf and who do not have an independent right to use the information to which they have access or that we disclose to them. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
• With our business partners for CPS or TLW marketing activities, business partner marketing activities or both
We will never sell your information on. Your information will only be disclosed to CPS or TLW, its affiliated or associated companies, retailers and companies working on behalf of CPS or TLW (“selected third parties”).
How to Manage Your Personal Information/Communications Preferences.
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your Personal Data. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us via the details contained in the Contact Us of our website. If you have subscribed to a particular email newsletter or other communication, you should follow the instructions in the email or on a related website to unsubscribe.
Security
CPS or TLW uses administrative, technical and physical security to protect the personal information we maintain and to help ensure that it is used according to this Privacy Statement.
Storing your personal data
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who works for us or for one of our suppliers. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
Data Transfer
Your personal data is collected, processed, transferred and used by CPS or TLW and commissioned for selected suppliers to process your request(s) or message(s) and to provide you with the requested customer support services. If necessary to fulfil or process your request, CPS or TLW may also disclose this information to any subsidiaries and affiliated companies of CPS Seating LTD and suppliers for the above purposes where the data may be processed or used. For these purposes, your data may be transferred and processed outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or Switzerland, for example for the purpose of saving and processing the data by a commissioned data processing company. All steps reasonably necessary will be taken to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with applicable laws.
Access to information
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right to access can be exercised in accordance with the Act by contacting us at the address set out below enclosing a copy of a recognised form of identity.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
