Project Description
Collaborating with Aston University and Robotham Architects, CPS successfully orchestrated the design, manufacturing, and installation of a sophisticated seating arrangement for a renovated lecture theatre.
This encompassed fixed tiering, Vario Seating, and Innova Turn and Learn seating, complemented by fixed writing ledges featuring USB and plug power. Despite a tight schedule following CPS’s appointment, meticulous planning ensured the timely completion of the project to the client’s satisfaction.
The lecture theatre’s ambiance was thoughtfully curated with a blend of three Camira Fabric colours, creating an inviting and airy atmosphere. To ensure longevity, fixed ledges were finished with Formica Laminate.
Notably, the fixed tiering design had to span ducting and create a rear services room for easy access to plant and services—a testament to CPS’s commitment to functional and aesthetically pleasing educational spaces.
