Project Description
The Perse School in Cambridge realised they needed new seating to replace their existing auditorium seating. The school already had ideas about what they wanted for their auditorium.
CPS was selected by the school due to our products offering more customisation and a better overall aesthetic. The Perse School wanted the top of the seats back to be curved or bow-topped rather than flat to raise the feel of the room above that of a standard lecture theatre to a high-end auditorium.
CPS completed an accurate survey using a Total Station surveying instrument and then produced drawings and visuals for the client to approve.
We installed 176 Novus chairs which incorporated our new anti-finger trap seat pivot and laser cut seats. The seats are upholstered in three colours on the back and base with upholstered outer panels.
CPS Seating LTD offered an alternative folding desk mechanism for the Perse School seating. The rear folding desking had an improved appearance, functionality and durability. A continuous rail along the back of the seats supported the folding desks.
